Welcome to the Connecticut Association of DECA, an association of marketing students in secondary school chapters throughout the state.  Through membership in DECA, students gain valuable insight into the fields of marketing , merchandising, management and entrepreneurship careers.  DECA serves as a showplace for skills learned by students in the marketing education instructional program in their high school.

Through competitive events at the state and national level, as well as state and regional conferences, members in Connecticut DECA build bridges between school and work while linkng student occupational goals with leadership, professional, and community service training opportunities.  CT DECA has grown to 47 chapters with a membership of nearly 2,500 students and advisors.  

Coming off one of the most successful years in recent history in which 11 students qualified as national event finalists and 3 students placed first nationally, Connecticut DECA looks to continue its growth.  Under the leadership of President Julie Lavens and the Executive Council, Connecticut DECA is looking forward to even bigger year.
