Pin Design Contest
Design the 2011-2012 CT DECA State Pin
Connecticut DECA will be holding its 2nd annual "Design-A-Pin" contest for the 2011-2012 school year. Our state pin is a creative way to show our DECA spirit at our State and International Conferences, and has always been an important part of our DECA association.
Once again, each member of DECA will have the opportunity to design the pin. Past pins have celebrated Connecticut's submarine base, Charter Oak Tree, PEZ candies, and most recently New Haven's Hamburger. What product, achievement, or invention will we celebrate this year?
The winning pin will be unveiled at the State Conference in February. The pin's designer will also be provided free registration to 2012 State Career Development Conference.
CONTEST RULES
- Entries must be submitted by individual members of Connecticut DECA - team/chapter entries are not allowed
- The design must convey some symbolism to Connecticut, DECA, Salt Lake City, UT, and/or the theme of this year's ICDC, "Aspire Higher."
- Designs can be created digitally or hand-drawn in color or black/white
- Designs must be on standard 8.5" x 11" paper and clear enough to be reproduced.
- The pin should NOT include any DECA logo, however you may use the word "DECA"
- Members may submit as many designs as they want
- Please...no appropriate text or images
- All entries must be received by December 1, 2011
